In the article Digital Innovation and the Future of Storytelling, the main idea was about how story telling has evolved and changed throughout time and continues to change based on the new technology platforms.
The main point and argument of the story is that companies need to change how the present their "channels" or "programs", and how Netflix sees this and knows that its the people they are trying to entertain and tell the stories to, if the people do not get the entertainment that they want from one place then they will go elsewhere for said entertainment. The author presents this information and opinion clearly and reliably because he is in the industry and has been for awhile.
I believe that the argument they portray is conclusive and inline with their evidence, the author talks about the new and improved ways companies portray their stories and how they have innovated the face of entertainment. I think that the evidence is very persuasive because of how successful that Netflix has been.
Some of my thought while reading this article and watching the video that was attached was that Spacy was correct in everything that he was saying, that people want entertainment that they may not be able go get in conventual ways, so Netflix was born and in doing so changed the way that people get their entertainment and that if other companies don't change soon then they could be in trouble. Also with all of new technologies been invented its an exciting time to live and that the possibilities are endless with what could come next.
